Obituary of Anne Truskoff

Anne (Samek) Truskoff, age 83, of Wayne,died Wednesday, June 25, 2003 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Truskoff was born January 14, 1920 in Highland Falls, NY the daughter of the late Henry and the late Marie (Nocar) Samek. She was a Secretary employed by Paul O. Abee Company of Little Falls, NJ for many years before retiring. Mrs. Truskoff was a member of Ethical Culture Society, Lakeland Branch. For much of her life she was an activist with a deep concern for issues of peace and social justice. Her husband Lou predeceased her in 1990. She is survived by two sons: Lou Truskoff of Seattle, WA, and Truskoff of Wayne, NJ, 6 nephews: Bill Bess, Henry And Eric Samek, Dennis And John Atkins, Alan Silber; and 7 nieces:Maxine Samek, Kathy Tufaro Bess,Lois Williams, Cathy Corson, Dorie Smith And Nancy Augustine. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 3PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ.
