Obituary of Antonio Milan Pineda
Antonio M. Pineda, 94 years old, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2022. He was in his second home surrounded by loved ones.
Antonio was born on April 7, 1928 in Manila, Philippines. He was a retired engineer who spent 15 years working for the US Navy at Subic Bay, Olongapo. Antonio, "Tony", was a child prodigy--playing both the piano and violin at the age of 6. From pastime to profession, he was a performer his whole life. He appeared on the Ed Sullivan show in the 1950s and played for presidents like President Dwight Eisenhower and the president of Taiwan. Later in life he was featured in the Bloomingdale local paper, drawing customers with his music to the Ice Cream Plus Bakery, a store that he and his wife owned.
Antonio was preceded in death by both his parents and is survived by his wife Lin Chin and children Anthony, Maria, Edgardo, Victor, Enrico, Reginaldo, August and Mary.
Viewing and prayer service will be held on Saturday November 26, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Moore's Home for Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd, Wayne, NJ.
