Obituary of Mary Christina Haywood

Mary Christina (McKenzie) Haywood, age 87, of Bloomingdale. passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Mrs. Haywood was born in Shohola, PA the daughter of the late George and the late Elizabeth (O'Farrell) McKenzie. She graduated from St. Agnes School and then St. Joseph School of Nursing both in Paterson. Mrs. Haywood was employed by Llanfair House in Wayne as a registered nurse before retiring.

Mrs. Haywood is survived by her beloved children, Bob and his wife Renee, Matt and his wife Liz, Marybeth and her husband Hernan Paz and Dave and his wife Marianne; her cherished grandchildren, Michael, Christina, Daniel, Patrick, Shannon, Dylan, Jacob, Nicolas and Caroline; and her loving brother Thomas McKenzie.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert K., II, and her siblings Andrew, Terence, Edna, Louise and Rosaleen.

Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home and the funeral Mass on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes which will be celebrated by Fr. Gonzalo Torres-Acosta.

Interment will follow in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
