Obituary of Thomas Vincent Ziccardi

Thomas Vincent Ziccardi, age 74, died Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson. Mr. Ziccardi was born August 20, 1935 in Paterson, the son of the late Vincent and the late Ida (Candinastro) Ziccardi. He lived in Wayne. Mr. Ziccardi graduated with BA in Education and an MA in Management from Montclair State College and was a teacher at Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills High Schools for 12 years before retiring in 1992. Mr. Ziccardi was a field rep for NJEA, Sussex and Passaic Counties at the Wayne office, a volunteer for the Crisis Hot Line in Pompton Plains, and taught the English language at the Wayne Public Library Literacy Group. He is survived by his beloved wife Marion (De Witt); his loving children, Thomas,II, Guy and his wife Terry, Mark and his wife Cassandra and Linda Ziccardi; his cherished grandchildren Christina, Elena, Max, Nicholas and Benjamin and his dear brother Vincent.
